ABOUT US

The African and Caribbean Physiotherapy network was founded in October 2019. It is a professional community specifically for students, assistant and qualified physiotherapists from an African and/or Caribbean heritage in the United Kingdom. Our mission is to create a strong, visible and positive community that raises awareness and provides real support for Afro-Caribbean therapists. The network was founded on the belief that being of African or Caribbean descent should not limit personal and professional development in a historically Caucasian, middle class profession. Through membership, we aim to empower this community by providing individuals with mentorship, skills-based workshops and transferable professional skills to facilitate career development and success!

ACPT Network, FOR US, BY US!
